As the days passed,
He wonders if his love will last.
He tells her he loves her, every day,
And shows it, in every way.
As they walked down the hall.
He sees her love begin to fall.
He noticed that something was wrong,
And something didn't belong.
Out of ignorance, he chose to ignore it.
He keeps walking, as if he never saw it.
Days passed, and it was still there.
He decided to look at her, with a stare.
She looked at him and asked, "What's wrong?"
He replied, "Something doesn't belong."
She noticed that he knew something,
So, she walked away and said, "I forgot something."
They didn't see each other until the next day.
But, they walked by, with nothing to say.
It went on for days and weeks.
He knew that his love was getting weak.
He tapped her on her back, and she turned around.
They stood there, with no sound.
Then she began to speak,
He noticed that she was getting weak.
She told him that she was dying.
Then walked away crying.
He walked up to her and gave her a kiss.
He knew that her love, he would miss.
Weeks passed and it was her time to go.
They loved each other and it showed.
They held hands as she slipped away.
He knew he must be strong to live another day.
He never forgot about her,
And knew, one day, they would be back together.
For they had a strong love,
A love sent from above.
He laid roses on her grave,
With promises that he would be brave.
He never loved another,
As much as he loved her.
Love is strong
And should never be abused
It's a feeling...
